Getting into gear early, New Balance have unveiled the AS Roma home shirt for the 22/23 season. The design fuses the Giallorossi’s signature red and yellow palette with a graphical print derived from the 1930’s circular ASR Crest.

Second season’s can be a tricky affair; after a strong start it’s easy to not live up to the heights of what came in the debut. Fortunately that’s not the case for New Balance and Roma, with the brand pulling out a tidy design that’s laced in tradition while also feeling suitably fresh. It sees a two-tone split of the classic red joined by a sublimated graphic that runs through the body, while yellow trim completes the look.

Complementing the new shirt, is a raised polo button collar in yellow trim alongside a tonal cuff and a body mapped back panel for ventilation. The words “Figli di Roma” are placed on the back of the neck in tribute to the bond between the city, the team that bears its name, and those who wear the jersey.

AS Roma Captain Lorenzo Pellegrini said, “Every detail of this shirt tells of our team's unbreakable bond with the city of Rome. That's why it will be even more exciting to wear it on the field”.

General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum said: “There’s a real sense of elegance with this year’s home kit. New Balance sought inspiration from the incredible fusion of past and present that exists in Rome, that is unlike anywhere else in the world and this design brings that to life”.
