It feels like it’s been ages since Crystal Palace presented and then debuted their 2019/20 home kit in their final game of the season against Bournemouth. And now, nearly two months later, the club reveal their away shirt for the upcoming season. Worth the wait? Yeah, most definitely, with PUMA providing a unique spin on a look commonly seen on the south London team.
Taking a black canvas, something the club have done on numerous occasions, most recently in the 2013/14 and 2017/18 campaigns, the design then sees details in the home colours of blue and red featuring in the classic stripes down the centre and then respectively on each shoulder. That alone is a decent look, tying in nicely with the classic home shirt, but the design is embellished further by a wavy overlay that runs through the whole body, setting it apart as a cracking option for the Eagles when they're playing away from SE2. Trippy and terrific.
