Chelsea 16/17 Home Kit by adidas

As Chelsea took a share of the headlines in playing their part in the Premier League title race, it's all about looking forward and to next season for the big names in London. Releasing their 2016/17 home kit through Facebook Video, their fans got the first glimpse.

A smart number that has nods of retro while styled out with a contemporary cut, it boasts a sharp v-necked collar while the famous three stripes of adidas bring the party down each side of the shirt.

Some description

Catching the eye most notably is the shimmering lion that sits proudly dotted all over. The nineties was an era for all sorts of further detailing embedded into a shirt and this shirt blends a trend resurgence for nineties styling with an on point addition to an ever expanding line of kits. The new kit will make its debut in the FA Women’s Cup final at Wembley on 14 May when Chelsea take on Arsenal, with its first appearance at Stamford Bridge a day later in the final game of the Premier League season when we host Premier League champions Leicester City.

Blue is the colour all day long for this one, top-to-toe with white weaving in, you've got to hand this one to them. It's a beaut, no?
