PUMA have unveiled the new look Borussia Dortmund home and away shirts for the upcoming 2014/15 season modeled by their four World Cup winning players, Mats Hummels, Roman Weidenfeller, Erik Durm and Kevin Grosskreutz.
The key feature on the home jersey are the transverse stripes on the right hand side of the shirt and left sleeve that create a dynamic design placed on top of the traditional bright yellow strip. Marco Reus who was gutted to miss out on the World Cup exploits gave his thoughts on the new home shirt; "The extraordinary design with diagonal stripes radiates aggression. A strong shirt for a successful season."
The Borussia Dortmund away shirt is another classy offering from PUMA. Fine yellow pinstripes sit on a black backdrop to pay tribute to the club's premier colours with yellow details on the tips of the sleeves. Dortmund's new strips will get their first taste of Bundesliga action in front of the yellow wall when they get their campaign underway at home to Bayer Leverkusen on August 23 before travelling to FC Augsburg 6 days later.
