Sadio Mane Signs Long-Term Deal With New Balance

Joining all the exciting young players that are signing with the brand comes news that Sadio Mané has signed a new, long-term deal with New Balance. Mané has long been the sole standard bearer for New Balance, and tying down their star man is yet another sign of their intent.

New Balance have been making some serious moves in the player recruitment side of things in 2021, with the likes of Buyako Saka, Harvey Elliott, and Eberechi Eze joining what is fast becoming one of the most exciting young rosters in the game. Add to that the possibility of Raheem Sterling and you suddenly have a genuinely world-class list of names. But of course they are all following in the footsteps of Sadio Mané, who has been New Balance’s star man for the last three years, and now comes the news that the Liverpool man has signed a long term deal with the brand.

Arriving in Lime Glow with Citrus punch details, the heel features a special insignia designed by New Balance with creative input from the player himself, a striking lion graphic is visible on the sole. Mané will wear the bespoke boots against Southampton on 8 May.

"Joining New Balance has been great for me, I have achieved a lot,” Mané explained. “I always try to work hard to do the best for my teammates and it’s a dream to score and create goals that win trophies. I’m proud to have worked with the brand on a custom, unique boot. I’m still hungry for success and hopefully, there’s lots more to come from me.
