Ronaldo Wonder Goal Immortalised In Crystal Portrait

Cristiano Ronaldo's wonder goal for Real Madrid against Juventus in the Quarter Final of the 17/18 Champions League has been immortalised in Swarovski crystals by Colombian artist, Mr. Bling. A portrait of yourself scoring one of the best goals of the season, made of diamonds? Yeah, that’s right up CR7's street.

The overhead kick in question was so perfectly executed that it even saw the Juventus fans stand and applaud, and Ronaldo has since said that this reaction actually played a part in his decision to move to the Serie A giants. It's a fitting image for a diamond redo, and Ronaldo seems pretty happy with it.

This work follows a similar effort for Messi back in 2013. That was reportedly a gift, but it’s unclear whether this latest work has been commissioned by Ronaldo himself, or whether it’s just another gift. You know, a £35 million gift.

Mr. Bling has made a name for himself by putting crystals on fashion and luxury decorations, and he’s created work for some of the biggest names in football, including Ronaldinho, Neymar, Luka Modric, Marcelo, Juan Cuadrado, and Hulk, as well as gaining a huge following in fashion and celebrity circles.

If you've got a cool £20-50 mil burning a hole in your pocket then why not give Mr.Bling a shout. Sure a diamond portrait is just what your bathroom is missing.
