Palace Duo Out For Season After Fouls on Kevin De Bruyne

Crystal Palace have confirmed that both Scott Dann and Jason Puncheon will be out for the rest of the season after they both damaged cruciate knee ligaments in separate fouls on Kevin de Bruyne. Yeah, he's pretty hard to stop this season, is Kev.

Both players were booked for their tackles on the Man City playmaker, whilst De Bruyne also left the pitch on a stretcher... before returning to start against Watford just two days later and notch up two more assists. Eagles captain Dann was carried off on a stretcher during Sunday's 0-0 draw, and Puncheon was injured in a late tackle on De Bruyne in the final minute.

"We won't see them again this season and they may not be ready for the start of next season," Palace manager Roy Hodgson told BBC Sport."They'll both see a specialist and likely undergo surgery once the swelling goes. They are very serious injuries."

In short, stop him at your peril.
