Clearly a club with a vested creative interest, LOSC Lille and New Balance opened up the club's training ground 'Domaine de Luchin' for us last week with the team having just finished a double pre-season session. An exclusive look from a unique angle, it's the engine room that determines the quality of a seasons output.
Doubling up as a temporary art gallery not short of installations as well as an elite performance centre for a team that finished 5th in Ligue 1 last season, it's quite the complex of multitudes at this hang out. With the squad moving through the first few weeks of pre-season training, the venue sits peacefully in the countryside, a mere twenty minutes from Lille, and acts as a beating heart to on pitch proceedings.
Bike sheds and pitches a plenty, there's a mixture of surfaces for squads of all ages and all levels. A contemporary castle that could be mistaken for a country manor, the 'Domaine de Luchin' also boasts a lake with ducks and all.
