First Look At The PSG Air Jordan 1 High 85 Wings 'Phantom' Sneaker

Following on from the PSG x Jordan Wings collection reveal last week, we’ve now got the first proper look at the incredibly premium Air Jordan 1 High '85 Wings “Phantom”, which is available in two limited options.

PSG and Jordan revealed their new luxury streetwear line last week – Made in Italy and crafted to Jordan Brand’s highest standard of production, the Jordan Wings x Paris Saint-Germain collection was headlined by the striking fourth kit, which featured the iconic Jordan Wings insignia across the chest, framed by the Jumpman and PSG logos. But in amongst the wider streetwear styles there was mention of an exclusive Air Jordan High 1, reimagined as an art piece. But beyond a possible glimpse on the feet of some of the models (not confirmed), we essentially had to imagine what the duo had in store for us. Until now.

Revealed at a Pop-Up Store at 31 Place du Marché Saint-Honoré during Paris Fashion Week, which is running from 21-26 January, 2025, the sneakers made their debut, with those lucky enough to be in attendance getting a first proper look at what had, until now, only been teased. And it didn’t disappoint.

The Jordan Wings x Paris Saint-Germain collection marks a return to the essence of excellence, merging innovation with impeccable craftsmanship,” says Fabien Allegre, Chief Brand Officer, PSG. “Redefining urban fashion through bold details and timeless design, this collaboration stands as a testament to PSG’s relentless quest for perfection. More than just a collection, it honours the unseen heroes — stylists, artisans and community figures — whose passion and dedication shape our identity."

The Air Jordan 1 High '85 Wings “Phantom” lands as the perfect merger of street culture and luxury. There are two versions, one limited to 2275 pieces, the other extremely limited, with only 23 pairs available worldwide. Both have been crafted in Italy using only the finest materials, and both feature dual branding throughout, although the ultra-limited edition has a few additional flourishes, as you’d expect, such as the “We Love The Game” callout that rides around the collar in stylised font. To elevate that release even further, each numbered pair of the 23 comes in a superbly detailed Parc des Princes-inspired box with high-end accessories, revealing a PSG backgammon game.

Back at the beginning of 2024, Jordan Brand presented its Jordan Wings Collection including two pairs of made in Italy Air Jordan 1 Highs at the price of $975 USD. Jordan reimagined the iconic silhouettes in pristine and luxurious finishes (one of which was a sleek “Phantom” colour), hand crafted in Italy. Now, 12 months on, PSG get their own take.

As we celebrate our 40-year anniversary, Jordan Brand continues to push the boundaries of greatness,” says Jason Mayden, Chief Design Officer. “Through our continued collaboration with PSG, we are elevating sport, style and culture.” Can say that again.

The Air Jordan 1 High '85 Wings "Phantom" colourway delivers an effortlessly elegant aesthetic, combining Phantom, Wolf Grey, Sanddrift, and Metallic Gold tones. Proudly bearing the coveted "Made in Italy" tag just beneath the iconic Wings logo on the tongue, this premium release boasts a refined white leather upper, paired with a matching midsole and a semi-translucent gum outsole.

Adding a touch of opulence, the design is elevated with a heavy satin lining and foot-conforming foam for an unparalleled comfort experience. The debossed Wings logo on the collar, satin and leather sockliner, and a numbered tongue amplify the luxe feel.

Premium just got raised a level.

The collection is available exclusively at the Jordan Wings x Paris Saint-Germain pop-up store during Paris Fashion Week, 21-26 January, at 31 Place du Marché Saint-Honoré in Paris. The fourth kit will also be available from 22 January at prodirectsport.com/soccer
