Ronaldo Reveals New Free Mercurial Superfly HTM

Did Nike use Cristiano Ronaldo to debut a new Free Mercurial Superfly HTM at the Ballon d'Or?

At the 2014 Ballon d'Or pre-ceremony press conference, Cristiano Ronaldo was kitted out top to bottom in the latest Nike gear as he joined adidas duo Lionel Messi and Manuel Neur on stage in Zurich. This year it seems Nike used their superstar athlete to debut a new Nike Free Mercurial Superfly HTM release.

Some description

Ronaldo was donning a tonal navy incarnation with a familiar white Nike Free 5.0 outsole. So far Nike have released two retail releases of the shoe - a "Stealth Black" model and a glowing "Volt" colourway. The design of the Nike Free Mercurial Superfly HTM came from the collaborative vision of Nike President and CEO Mark Parker, Fragment design founder Hiroshi Fujiwara and Nike design legend Tinker Hatfield.

Some description

Similar to that of the Mercurial Superfly IV boot, the upper retains a lightweight Nike Flyknit upper and boasts a sock-like fit and high, integrated ankle cuff.

There is no confirmed release date for Ronaldo's pair yet, but expect the shoes to land soon at NikeLab destinations around the world and on
