Paris Saint-Germain and the NFL have come together to unveil an exclusive jersey collection that celebrates a landmark moment for American football in the French capital, blending the identities of two sporting giants into one distinctly Parisian package.
Following previous Nike-led crossovers with clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, PSG are the latest football institution to receive the NFL treatment. And with the league touching down in Paris for the first regular-season game ever staged on French soil, the timing couldn't be more fitting.
The collection arrives in two colourways, each taking a different approach to the fusion of football and football. The first, dubbed the Paris Red & Blue Edition, stays true to PSG's DNA. Constructed on Nike's official NFL stitched limited jersey, it comes dressed in the club's signature royal blue with a red collar and white NFL V-neck insert. PSG branding stretches proudly across the chest, while white numerals outlined in red sit front and centre. PSG crests appear on each sleeve, and at the back a PARIS nameplate sits beneath a fleur-de-lis, giving the jersey an unmistakably local identity.
For those after something a little more premium, there's the Monogram Edition. A tonal claret base is elevated through gold detailing throughout, from the NFL shield and Nike Swoosh to the PSG monogram script across the chest. The standout feature lies in the numbering, which incorporates a bespoke pattern of fleurs-de-lis, Eiffel Towers and PSG monograms, further hammering home the meeting point between Parisian culture and American football.
While the aesthetics do plenty of talking, the finer details reveal the deeper connection behind the collection. Both jerseys carry the number 75, a nod to Paris' department code. Meanwhile, the fleur-de-lis featured throughout isn't just a reference to PSG's crest. It's also the emblem of the New Orleans Saints, who will face the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Stade de France on 25 October, creating a symbolic bridge between the city of Paris and one of the NFL's most iconic franchises.
Adding another layer to the occasion, the Saints will also release a special-edition jersey for the historic fixture, making this a celebration of sporting cultures on both sides of the Atlantic.
Speaking on the launch, NFL Vice President of International Consumer Products and Licensing Salha Latif said: "Our first regular-season game in France is a milestone for the NFL, and we wanted to give fans in Paris a jersey worthy of the moment. Together with PSG, Fanatics and Nike, we've created something authentically Parisian and unmistakably NFL. French fans have waited a long time to see NFL football on home soil, and this collection lets them be part of it.”
The collection will be available online at NFL Shop (U.S. and Europe), the PSG Store and Nike.com
