BLCKSMTH Create 'Shine A Light' Jersey In Aid Of CALM

Born out of the idea that suicidal doesn’t always look suicidal, custom creators BLCKSMTH Apparel have created the ‘Shine A Light’ jersey in aid of CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), with the charity receiving 80 percent of all proceeds.

Mental wellbeing is a huge concern in the modern era, and despite the joy that football brings to millions, issues surrounding mental health are also in abundance within the sport. Outward appearances often mean it’s not always obvious that someone is struggling on the inside. With this in mind, BLCKSMTH Apparel have created the ‘Shine A Light’ jersey, which features a design that looks to encourage people to shine a light on the ways to prevent suicide and notice the signs that a mate may be struggling.

The shirt itself features a beautifully sublimated rose pattern across the front and back, as well as an iridescent rose crest that only truly reflects and flourishes when a light is shone on it; subtle details hidden within the darkness. The 'shine a light' motif is highlighted on the back of the neck, while the shirt is stamped with a silicone authenticity tag celebrating the brand’s football jersey in aid of CALM.

This release follows Manchester City and England defender Kyle Walker partnering with PUMA, EA SPORTS FIFA, and CALM, to release a limited-edition home and away kit to mark Mental Health Awareness Week recently.

BLCKSMTH Apparel was founded in 2021 that bring 'concept' football jerseys to reality and rose to popularity after creating football shirts inspired by iconic wrestling attires, such as Bret Hart's legendary pink and black outfit, as well as creating entrance gear for the likes of current IMPACT Wrestling World Champion, Josh Alexander.

The ‘Shine A Light’ jersey release will see 80 percent of all proceeds donated to CALM.
