Framed #44 | West Ham United v Man City

Jesus saves. As West Ham go through a frosty phase in the season, fans are still acclimatising to their new stadium while opposing players appear to take to it with much comfort. Unfortunately for the Hammers fans, this match up was a showing of superiority as one team looks to address the slide while the other looks to leap with strides.

Gabriel Jesus will naturally take a lot of plaudits from this game. An inspiring figure who has provided assists and now a goal in a Manchester City career that has stretched just two games to date, his return on investment is so far looking highly profitable and Man City have now laid the foundations as they look to mount a challenge on those that sit pretty in the top four. Unfortunately for the Hammers it was a fixture that's best put to bed. A day where not much was going their way, it's on to the next as far as they're concerned.

For City, it's an exciting track in which they find themselves on. Pockets of inconsistency can be put aside when an accomplishing win like this comes around. A match in which they didn't even start with Sergio Aguero or first choice stopper Claudio Bravo it's one that shows the depths in which there strength goes.

Still, one thing you can be sure of is that passion that remains in the West Ham ranks. An attendance that exceeds 56,000 is a mighty figure that they can take away with pride as the search to become THE club of 'London' goes on. It was always going to be a season that saw them warm to fresh surroundings and the fans have certainly not let them down where numbers are concerned. There's always a bright side around the corner and a club with such rich history and decent quality on the pitch, the season always brings an up for every down.
