Global Boot Spotting

Another week of Boot Spotting comes with several special edition drops that have stolen the show over the last couple of weeks. They’re joined by some fresh new colourways, some player/brand switches and a dusting of throwback. Let’s get into it…

Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich) Nike Tiempo Legend X Luxe

The Nike Tiempo Legend X 'Luxe' edition was revealed last week, and having been spotted training in them, Jamal Musiala debuted them in Bayern's Champions League match against Feyenoord (less said about the result there the better) followed by the league win over Wolfsburg.

Leah Williamson (Arsenal) Nike Tiempo Legend X Luxe

Another player lined up to be the face of the Nike Tiempo Legend X 'Luxe' was Arsenal's Leah Williamson. However, having laced them up in a training session, the Arsenal defender didn't wear them in the London derby, instead sticking with the 'Mad Energy' colourway.

Riccardo Calafiori (Arsenal) adidas Predator 25 FT Year of the Snake

Riccardo Calafiori proved to be the difference in the Gunners' game against Wolves over the weekend, firing into the bottom corner on the volley, showing all the poise, control and accuracy that the Predator is renowned for.

Mapi Leon (Barcelona Femeni) adidas Predator 25 Year of the Snake

The special edition Predator 25, released by adidas to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Snake, has been a favourite of players across the world, and Mapi Leon stood out in them in Barcelona Femeni's 5-0 Supercopa de Espãna Femenina against Real Madrid.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City) Nike Phantom GX II EH

Erling Haaland got his latest signature edition boots last week, and he went on to wear them in the Champions League and Premier League matches against PSG and Chelsea respectively, scoring in both.

Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer Leverkusen) New Balance Furon v8

Bundesliga Champion and Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong has joined the New Balance family as the brand’s newest athlete, and he wore the latest colourway of the Furon v8 in his side's Champions League loss to Atletico Madrid.

Rolando Mandragora (Fiorentina) Mizuno Alpha II

Mizuno teased the release of the new generation Alpha II with some strikingly iridescent hues, and they were on display on Fiorentina's defensive midfielder, Rolando Mandragora, in his side's 1-2 away win over Lazio.

Harvey Elliott (Liverpool) New Balance Tekela v4+

Last week we saw Real Madrid's Endrick lacing up in the latest colourway of the New Balance Tekela v4+, and now Liverpool's Harvey Elliott joins the Brazilian, wearing them in Liverpool's 4-1 win over Ipswich on the weekend.

Mohammed Kudus (West Ham United) Skechers Razor

Skechers continue to grow their on-pitch profile, and while Harry Kane is the go-to for the SKX_01 model, there's not a standout for the Razor. But West Ham's Mohammed Kudus has stepped up for that accolade, opting for the boots in recent games.

Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid) Kipsta CLR Elite

France World Cup winner, and long-time Atletico Madrid superstar, Antoine Griezmann has officially signed with Decathlon, ending his 14-year partnership with German sportswear company PUMA. Griezmann wore the official ‘Jaguar boost’ colorway of the Kipsta CLR Elite in the 1-1 draw with Villareal.

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (Wolverhampton Wanderers) Nike Mercurial Vapor Ultra Flyknit

Jean-Ricner Bellegarde only went and pulled out one of the best special editions in recent memory, lacing up in the Nike Mercurial Vapor Ultra Flyknit for his side's game against Chelsea last week.
