Hermaine Moukam (Bate Borisov) adidas Predator Mania Champagne

Hermaine Moukam switched into a pair of 2018 re-released Predator Mania Champagnes this week. The Bate Borisov man sported the much hyped limited edition design in his side's Europa League third leg qualifying match against FC Sarajevo.

Harry Maguire (Manchester United) Nike Tiempo Legend 7

When you're an eighty million pound Manchester United player you're pretty big time. Harry Maguire made his United debut wearing a blacked out pair of Tiempo 7 boots, suggesting that he's using his new status to negotiate a better boot deal with the Swoosh, or he's in talks with United kit supplier adidas about signing for the Three Stripes. Nothing is more old-school about having a centre half wearing number 5 in black boots.

Lee Kangin (Valencia) adidas Nemeziz 19+

Lee Kangin switched into the lesser-spotted adidas Nemeziz 19+ "Polarize Pack" for Valencia's pre-season friendly with Inter Milan. The disruptive colourway, which launched in June, wasn't dished out to any adidas contracted players but has been picked up and personalised by Kangin.

Jean-Philippe Gbamin (Everton) Nike Mercurial GS360

Everton new boy Jean-Philippe Gamin made his debut for the club on Saturday in a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace having already caught our eye in training earlier in the week. The midfielder has matched up his 'Nike By You' Mercurial GS360 boots with the colours of the Everton 19/20 training kit. Smart.

Tarek Chahed (Magdeburg) Nike Mercurial Vapor XII

A couple of weeks before the new generation Mercurial landed, Nike introduced a new multi-coloured knit customisation feature to their 'Nike By You' platform. Tarek Chahed of Magdeburg bagged a pair and wore them against Freiburg at the weekend.

Sadio Mane (Liverpool) New Balance Furon V5

Sadio Mané was wearing the new "Bayside Blue" Furon V5 colourway in training upon his return to Liverpool last week, however he switched back into the previous colourway to make his first appearance of the new season from the bench against Norwich.

Omar Mendoza (Tijuana) Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII

Omar Mendoza has given his Mercurial Vapor XIII boots a bit of custom flavour by opting for a "red/white" combo to match his Tijuana home kit colours. It's a tradition carried out by all Tijuana players – to have red boots – and Mendoza completed his design by adding his surname on the instep of the boot, taking full advantage of Nike By You's new versatile personalisation options.

Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) Nike Mercurial Vapor XIII

Marcus Rashford kicked off the season by switching out of the Nike PhantomVNM series and into the Mercurial Vapor XIII, and after scoring twice in United's opening 4-0 win against Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday we'd bank on him staying in them for the foreseeable future.

Joe Bunney (Northampton) Nike T90 Laser IV

Joe Bunney was keeping it old school at the weekend as he laced up in the fourth and final generation of the Nike T90 Laser series. Originally launched in 2011, the Laser IV was worn by the likes of Wayne Rooney and Fernando Torres before being replaced by the Hypervenom series.

Manfred Starke (Kaiserslautern) Nike Premier 2.0

Manfred Starke was in DFB Cup action at the weekend wearing the latest Nike Premier 2.0 colourway from the recently released "New Lights" pack. Starke scored a penalty to help the most German-sounding-team-of-all-time Kaiserslautern beat Mainz 2-0 to reach the next round.
