Paul Pogba (Manchester United) adidas Predator 19+ PP

Scoring a brace from the spot to guide your team to a 2-1 win over West Ham, and doing so in your very own brand new signature boots? Just another day for Paul Pogba as he debuted the Predator 19+ from his fifth collaboration with adidas.

Edwin Cardona (Pachuca) Nike Mercurial Vapor XII

It was over in Mexico that we got our first on pitch look at the 'Euphoria Mode' Pack Mercurial Vapor on the feet of Pachuca forward, Edwin Cardona. Nike's latest pack released last week, mixing either orange or blue on white across its four key silos. The appearance of the Euphoria Mode Merc was the highlight in Pachuca's goalless draw with Santos Laguna.

Lionel Messi (Barcelona) adidas Nemeziz 18.1 Messi

It wasn't until the second half of Barcelona's Champions League quarter final first leg clash with Manchester United that Lionel Messi debuted the latest look for the Nemeziz Messi from the adidas Virtuso Pack. By that time he'd already played a key role in the one and only goal of the match.

Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund) Nike Mercurial Superfly VII

Jadon Sancho continues to rip it up in Germany, bagging another brace this weekend against Mainz. It's no surprise that Nike see him as one of the big players of the future, and as such he's been one of the players trialling the new Mercurial Superfly VII in blackout form.

Reiss Nelson (Hoffenheim) adidas Nemeziz 19.1

And as we all know, Sancho ain't the only Englishman doing the biz on the continent. In a case of anything you can do, Reiss Nelson popped up on the score sheet for Hoffenheim in their game against Hertha, and he did so in a blacked out adidas Nemeziz 19.1, which he wore without laces. Anyone want to tell him there's a laceless version?

Wilfred Zaha (Crystal Palace) Nike Mercurial GS360

A regular purveyor of Greenspeed flavour, Wilf Zaha decided to mix things up this week in Palace's clash with Manchester City. He wore odd boots from his Nike iD collection, with the right featuring a white on black and the left, green on black. Interesting look... didn't help Palace though as they lost 3-1.

Jonathan Kodjia (Aston Villa) Nike Mercurial GS360

Another Greenspeed appearance came on the feet of Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia, as he trained in the more conventional 'pair'. He opted for a smart red and black look for his Nike iD Mercurial GS. Kodjia missed out on Villa's triumph over Bristol City due to a rib injury, so didn't get to show them off on pitch.

Nathan Redmond (Southampton) adidas X 18.1

As with Paul Pogba's signature boots, if you're going to wear a specially customised pair, you need to do them justice. And Nathan Redmond did just that, notching a brace in the Saints 3-1 win against Wolves. The adidas X 18.1 'Virtuso' boots were customised by @Graffiacustoms to highlight @righttoplayuk's approach of using sport and play to empower vulnerable children around the world.

Darren Mattocks (FC Cincinnati) Nike Mercurial Superfly VI

Bit of a two-fer, this. Not only do we get a rare on-pitch sighting of the COPA 17.1 on the feet of Sporting Kansas' Botond Barath, but we also see the best use of Nike iD colour coordination this week from Darren Mattocks. The Cincinnati forward perfectly matched the blue and orange of his team's kit. Looked great as he scored from the spot in the 1-1 draw.

Keita Balde (Inter Milan) Nike Mercurial Vapor Heritage 2014

Keita Balde is a fairly regular feature on Boot Spotting, thanks to his preference for a throwback classic. This week he opted for the Nike Mercurial Vapor Heritage 2014 as his side overcame Frosinone 3-1.

Emiliano Rigoni (Zenit St. Petersburg) adidas Powerswerve

An absolute belter of a throwback came on the feet of Zenit St. Petersburg's Argentine winger, Emiliano Rigoni, as he took to the pitch in 2007's adidas Predator Powerswerve. Yet another player to score in his special boots this week, notching the third in a 5-0 win over Anji.

Marcel Sabitzer (RB Leipzig) Nike What The Mercurial Superfly

Leipzig winger Marcel Sabitzer caught our eye this week as he took to the pitch against Wolfsburg in last year's What The Mercurial, which celebrated 20 years of speed by taking the materials of Mercurials dating back to 1998 and combining them in one boot. Leipzig won 2-0 by the way.

Angel Gomes (Manchester United) Nike CTR360 Maestri III

Angel Gomes continues to try to force his way into Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's plans at Manchester United, and he does so in a consistently nice choice of throwback boots. This week, he took to the training ground in the Nike CTR360 Maestri III.

Xavi (Al-Sadd) adidas Predator Precision 25Y DB

Saving an absolute peach for last, Barca legend Xavi wore the adidas Predator Precision 25Y David Beckham boot in Al-Sadd's recent Asian Champions League match against Pakhtakor. The game ended 2-2 with Xavi bagging a brace for his side. Class all round.
