Leicester took another colossal step closer to the Premier League title on Sunday with a 1-0 win over Southampton. If they are to pull off the unimaginable then one of their standout players of the season is without doubt N'Golo Kante. The French international has been instrumental in the midfield and marked The Foxes latest success by switching into the new adidas X15+ SL.
Shinji Okazaki (Japan) Mizuno Basara 101
Another of Leicester's heroes from the season is Shinji Okazaki who was in international action with Japan this week wearing the latest yellow/black Mizuno Basara 101 colourway. Okazaki then reverted to the blue/black edition to match up with his club colours on Sunday. Crisp.
Nelson Benitez (Atletico Rafaela) Nike Tiempo Legend IV
Nelson Benitez was sporting one of the most popular Tiempo Legend boots of the entire series this week. The Atletico Rafaela man was laced up in the "Black/Total Orange" edition of the fourth generation boot, a launch colourway that was released in an Elite version with a carbon fibre soleplate. A modern classic.
Jamie Paterson (Huddersfield) adidas X 15.1
Unsurprisingly the "Shock Pink" adidas X 15.1 hasn't been to the taste of every player. The bold colour update was overlooked by the vast majority of adidas contracted professionals but Huddersfield Town striker Jamie Paterson has plucked up the courage to sport a pair, and in his defence, they look tidy on pitch. It's 2016, pink's just another colour.
Cedric Soares (Southampton) Nike Mercurial Vapor X
The recent 'Radiant Reveal' Pack was dominated by the Superfly, Magista Obra and Hypervenom Phantom II but it's the unsung Mercurial Vapor X that continues to quietly establish itself as the lead boot. Jonjoe Kenny was flying the flag for Umbro at Wembley on Sunday as his League Two Oxford side were edged out by League One Barnsley. Laced up in the "Dazzling Blue" second generation Velocita, Kenny brought the brand back to a stage that it once ran riot on and with a boot line-up so strong, those days could well be on their way back.
Marc Roberts (Barnsley) adidas ACE 16.1 Primeknit
Marc Roberts was on the winning side at Wembley on Sunday as Barnsley claimed the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with a 3-2 win. Roberts' boots were the most distinct on show on the hallowed turf as the Tykes man blacked out the upper of the ACE 16.1 Primeknit to create an alternative design.
