Robert Lewandowski moved into the new "Clearwater" Nike Hypervenom Highlight Pack as Bayern Munich got things back on track with a 2-0 win away at Stuttgart. The bright design will only be worn by players whose clubs are still competing in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Gyasi Zardes was laced up in the new #therewillbehaters Predator Instinct colourway this week. The LA Galaxy man was in action for the USMNT against Panama wearing the crazy "Light Flash Yellow" as adidas opted to keep their high profile players in the launch colourways of the Haters Pack.

After being unveiled as an official New Balance athlete in London this week Jesus Navas was forced to black-out his old Mercurial Superfly IV boots whilst he becomes accustomed to the still-under-wraps New Balance silo. Navas joins City team-mates Kompany, Fernando, Nasri and Negredo in New Balance, which he'll switch into after a few training sessions in his new footwear.

Jacques Faty (Sydney FC) adidas 11Pro

Jacques Faty has created his own version of the adidas Hunt Series by placing an illuminous-esque colourway on the stripes and heels of his all-white 11Pro boots. If getting noticed was Faty's plan then he did it in all the wrong ways by receiving a straight red card in the first half as his side beat Perth Glory 3-1.

James Milner rescued a late point for Man City at home to Hull on Saturday wearing his new "Poison Green" Nike Magista Opus boots. The tenacious England midfielder helped launch the Highlight Pack at St George's Pack this week by lacing up in his new wheels for a training session with the Nike Academy.

Jamie Devitt (Morecambe) Cruyff Sports Match

Morecambe's Jamie Devitt gave some on-pitch time to Cruyff Sports' Match silo at the weekend. Originally launched in August 2011 the Match boots took on Johan Cruyff's new brand logo but failed to have the same impact as when they were worn in the 1980's by Marco Van Basten, Dennis Bergkamp and Johan Cruyff himself.

adidas have once again launched another killer women's specific F50 adizero colourway. The "Solar Blue" drop rivals the "Solar Red" paint job from the Haters Pack and will have a fair few male players wishing that adidas would add a few extra sizes to the batch, especially those players who play in blue kits.

Aston Villa finally scored a league goal at the weekend but it wasn't enough to avoid defeat as Chelsea ran out 2-1 winners at Villa Park. Jores Okore was the man to notch that elusive goal and he was another in a new F50 update as he switched into the Black/Green colourway that will be worn by a limited number of F50 players including Karim Benzema.

Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba (Juventus) Nike Magista Obra

Whenever Nike bring out a new Magista colourway Paul Pogba always tries to better it with his own creations, and most the time he succeeds. The Juve midfielder has once again been busy on NikeiD by whipping up a pair of blue Obra boots with a white Dynamic Fit Collar to blend in with his home kit socks. If Nike ever need a new designer, they've got his number.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) Nike Mercurial Superfly IV

Cristiano Ronaldo hasn't been on the end of many 4-0 beating in his career but as CR7 moved out of his Ballon d'Or boots and into the Highlight Pack Superfly (complete with lower cut collar) that's exactly what happened as Real Madrid were hammered 4-0 by the boys in red and white across the city. When Ronaldo moves into a new colourway he's supposed to score the winner but Atletico obviously didn't read Nike's script.

Jefferson Montero made a delayed switch into the adidas F50 adizero Crazylight editions at the weekend. Weighing just 10g less that the standard F50 it was no surprise to see just a few players move into the boot but that crazy set of graphics was enough to ensure a small scattering around worldwide top-level pitches.

Gerard Pique

There was also an on-pitch debut for the new Highlight Pack Tiempo Legend V this weekend. Gerard Pique was amongst a number of high-profile Nike players to switch into the "Solar Blue/Volt" drop as Barcelona took advantage of Real Madrid's defeat to beat Bilbao 5-2 and move within a point of their old rivals.

Jason Thomson (Raith Rovers) Nike T90 Laser IV

For the second week running there was another T90 Laser IV spot on pitch. Raith Rovers' Jason Thomson was sporting a pair of the "Soar/Black/Silver" colourway originally launched in March 2012 and arguably one of the strongest looking colour combos of the Laser series. There's still a part of us that misses the T90.
