Nike Launch 'The Switch' Feat. Cristiano Ronaldo

A leading cast from the very top of the game and starring Cristiano Ronaldo, Nike have released their latest short film, "The Switch", that touches down on the eve of EURO 2016.

Breaking fresh ground in what has become a tournament tradition from Nike, "The Switch" (which also features cameos from Raheem Sterling, Joe Hart, Harry Kane, Chris Smalling, John Stones, Ross Barkley, Megan Rapinoe, Ricardo Quaresma, Andre Gomes, Jose Fonte, Cedric Soares, Vieirinha, Raphael Varane, Anthony Martial, Sergi Roberto and Javier Mascherano) is the longest brand film that Nike Football has ever produced (5:57 seconds).

Some description

The narrative of the film, underpinned by a players journey to the biggest stage, is centred around a body-swap theme between Cristiano and a young player ― 16-year-old Gerson Correia Adua. The film, which required five days of filming, begins with Ronaldo playing in a match for Portugal against England at Wembley Stadium. The rest, well you can watch it for yourself above.

Some description

A long standing legacy of collaboration, the brand worked once more with Wieden+Kennedy on the film which was directed by Ringan Ledwidge, who also directed Nike’s 2014 "Winner Stays". The cinematographer was Matthew Libatique, known for his film work on "Straight Outta Compton," "Black Swan" and "Iron Man." Holding no punches it was "the most extensive brand shoot Cristiano Ronaldo has ever done, for any company".
