adidas Fake New Orlando Pirates Jersey

adidas South Africa prank Orlando Pirates players and fans with a fake green home jersey for the 2014/15 season.

It seems as though the guys and gals at adidas HQ are in a jovial mood this summer. Following on from their shirt presentation prank on Ajax head coach Frank de Boer, the three stripes have struck once again, this time faking a green home jersey for South African side Orlando Pirates. The ABSA Premiership team normally play in black and white but adidas South Africa presented a new green jersey to players and fans, even faking an official photo shoot. Before being unveiled as a prank the controversial kit was given mostly negative reactions with one player forcing the complement "It's nice and and it matches the grass".
