McDonald's Celebrates Its Sponsorship Of Next Month's World Cup With New Video Featuring Irish 'Mini-Messi'.

McDonald’s have some serious World Cup history, acting as an official sponsor for 20 years. This year they've put themselves in the running for best viral with their 'McDonald's GOL! FIFA World Cup - Brasil 2014' video that features YouTube superstar Ciaran Duffy: a 10-year-old Irish football freestyler affectionately dubbed mini Messi for his out-of-this-world skills.

The video forms part of McDonald's wider 'Augmented Reality' World Cup campaign that sees World Cup-themed fry boxes function as the portal to a digital augmented-reality foobtall game via an iPhone and Android app.
