ES Tunis & Kappa Drop Late Contender For Shirt Of The 25/26 Season

Every now and then, a shirt drops that stops you mid-scroll. One that feels like a proper find. This is one of those. From the relative obscurity of the Tunisian league—at least in global kit conversations—Espérance Sportive de Tunis and Kappa have quietly released a fourth shirt that’s already making a strong case for late Shirt of the Season honours.

We say the relative obscurity of the Tunisian league in reference to Espérance Sportive de Tunis, but that's overlooking what was already one of the best kit sets of the 25/26 season, Kappa doing the club absolute favours ahead of their appearance at the Club World Cup last summer. And so this new fourth shirt is the cherry on what was already a very impressive three-tiered cake. Kappa – take more bows (as if you haven't had enough already).

Debuted in yesterday’s 2–1 win over Gabès, the new ES Tunis fourth jersey is an exclusive creation that leans heavily into the club’s heritage while keeping things unmistakably premium. Inspired by the mythical slogan “Sang & Or”, the design delivers a sober, classy and resolutely elegant aesthetic that feels right at home both on the pitch and in the stands.

The base is a refined white, clean and understated, structured by thin vertical pinstripes that give the shirt depth without overpowering it. From there, Kappa layer in rich burgundy red and warm yellow accents through a retro-feeling collar and cuffs—direct nods to Espérance’s iconic colours and a reminder of the passion, pride and grandeur that define the club.

Details do the heavy lifting here. Flip to the back of the collar and you’ll find the “Sang & Or” signature rendered in silicone—a subtle but powerful mark of identity and a direct link to the soul of Esperance. The burgundy and gold finishes on the collar and sleeves further elevate the piece, reinforcing the timeless, premium feel that runs through the entire design.

Available in both short and long sleeves—and let’s be honest, that long sleeve version is special—this fourth shirt strikes a near-perfect balance between heritage and modernity. It celebrates over a century of history while asserting a confident, contemporary identity.

Another reminder that some of the best shirts in the world aren’t always coming from the biggest leagues. Sometimes, you just have to dig a little deeper.
