Cesena FC & Erreà Honour The Past With 25/26 Away Kit

Cesena FC and Erreà have just unveiled the brand-new away kit for 25/26, marking the return of the logo designed by Piero Gratton to the Bianconeri’s chest for the first time in 45 years, a moment all Cavalluccio’s fans have been waiting for.

For Cesena FC, the new 25/26 away kit is more than just a change of colours. The Cavallucio have reconnected with their heritage, each stitch of the new design deeply rooted within Romagna football. In partnership with Italian sportswear brand Erreà, the Bianconeri have crafted a kit that bridges decades of club history whilst still projecting their ambition forward.

At the heart of the design is the return of the Cavalluccio. The sea horse emblem crafted in the late 70s by Italian designer Piero Gratton, also giving the team their iconic nickname, has been absent from the shirt for over four decades. This return doesn’t just revive some nostalgia, it revisits a whole identity. The last time it graced a Cesena shirt being the 1980/81 season, one Bianconeri fans aren’t soon to forget, where Adriano Piraccini led the team to promotion from Serie B to Serie A.

This season, the same crest that once adorned the 1980 shirt sits over the heart once more, linking that iconic era to the present day, encouraging the current team through past glories. Whilst the crest gives a sense of nostalgia, the visuals of the kit propel us into the future, modelling a contemporary monochrome palette. The base is jet black, cleanly cut by a single horizontal white band across the chest. An underrated yet elegant look. The historic crest takes the spotlight, as expected. Along the sides, Gratton’s seahorse reappears in subtle graphics, once again a quiet nod to the club’s rich history.
