With their reunion tour in full swing, Oasis are properly the in thing at the moment. So it’s understandable that with their historic ties, adidas SPZL tap into their past relationship with the brothers Gallagher for a limited edition two new pairs of adidas SPZL trainers.
It’s been a long time coming. For over twenty years, Liam and Noel Gallagher have been lacing their legacy to adidas, channelling their love of Three Stripes through the lens of Gary Aspden’s SPZL line. And now, with the brothers back on stage together for a world tour, that relationship has hit a new high note — the unveiling of two new signature silhouettes: the adidas LG Achille SPZL and the adidas NG Marathon SPZL.

Liam’s no stranger to SPZL. From the original LG SPZL to the follow-up LGII SPZL drops, his collaborations have always carried a swagger rooted in the terraces. This time, he’s dug into the archives, reimagining the adidas Achille — a vintage runner brought back with Gallagher grit. The LG Achille SPZL lands in a refined tonal mix: khaki mesh base, chocolate brown stripes, a beige suede T-toe overlay, and a sand outsole. The tweaks to the upper pattern give the shoe a sleeker, more modern flow without losing its retro soul.
Noel’s journey with adidas dates back to the NG72 in 2011, followed by the ultra-limited NG Garwen SPZL in 2017 — a collab that vanished from shelves almost as soon as it appeared. Now, nearly a decade later, he’s crafted something new: the NG Marathon SPZL. Built on the bones of the Marathon 85, it keeps the classic suede upper and grippy rubber outsole but reworks the details — adding a T-toe overlay, updating the midsole, and finishing with an Eco-Tex tongue and tonal eyelets. The colourway is pure Noel: deep navy with hits of sky blue, understated yet undeniable.
Both pairs carry a personal stamp — literally — with portraits of Liam and Noel on the tongues, co-branded sock liners, spare laces, and commemorative packaging. They’re not just trainers, they’re pieces of the band’s DNA.
Dropping 16 August to coincide with the Gallaghers’ Irish tour dates, the adidas LG Achille SPZL and NG Marathon SPZL will be available via adidas SPZL stockists and at adidas Carnaby and MCR retail stores.
