PUMA unveil the 2016/17 away kit for Bundesliga terrace bouncers Borrusia Dortmund. Switching the iconic yellow and black colours, PUMA have delivered a mean looking design ready for BVB's travels next season.
There's something undeniably cool about black kits and the fact we've never seen a bad one says it all. What we're looking at here is a horizontal three-colour block design finished in the club colours to complement the overall feel of one of world football's coolest clubs. Cheap tickets, immense atmosphere, terracing, beer in the stands and a fresh set of stylish kits. BVB are the club we wish we all supported.
The traditional Dortmund typeface sits at the bottom on the rear of the shirt and is met with matching yellow piping on the sleeves and shoulders to complete the understated design. For what it's worth, PUMA contracted player and BVB darling Marco Reus likes it. “PUMA has developed a great looking away kit, I like the modern design. The jersey feels good to wear, it’s comfortable and keeps me cool on pitch. I’m sure fans are going to like the new kit.” We're sure they will Marco, we're sure they will. Tasty, isn't it?
