Ahead of Spain's World Cup semi-final against Germany, Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has sent a message to Andres Iniesta, using Nike's awesome Life Center installation in Johannesburg.
Pep Guardiola certainly knows how to get the best out of the talented midfielder, after coaching Iniesta for the last two seasons. Guardiola's message of support to Andres Iniesta appeared on Nike’s ambitious Life Center LED installation (yes the very same place SoccerBible appeared!).
The Life Center is one of Johannesburg’s most iconic skyscrapers and the site of Nike’s ambitious installation. Reaching 30 stories or 138 meters into the sky, the building features an interactive LED screen almost half the size of a football pitch, allowing fans to post messages to their favourite players via Nike's Facebook page.
Guardiola was in South Africa visiting the Football Training Center located in the heart of Soweto, South Africa to help inspire young footballers to fulfill their potential. Throughout the course of the World Cup Nike have arranged for some prestigious guests to visit the centre, including
Arsene Wenger and
Kobe Bryant!
