As the tournament grows in stature, so does the hype and publicity that surrounds the African Cup of Nations. And as with major tournaments like the World Cup, European Championships and Champions League, the beginning of a new tournament means the unveiling of the new match ball.

Puma have unveiled the 10 new football kits for their partnered African National football teams, using a star studded line-up in London this week. Launched for the 2012 African Cup of Nations, each football shirt is a unique collaboration with a renowned artist from the Creative African Network (CAN).

Our boot spotters were out this week catching the best of the action from the FA Cup, with some very interesting and unique boot choices on show. And our ever-busy legion of boot spotters also made a cameo appearance at the African Cup of Nations, finding two never seen before football boots...
