For the 2012/13 season Mitre, the world’s oldest football brand, has unveiled its new professional ball the Delta V12. Launched exclusively across all npower Football League and Capital One Cup fixtures, the Delta will feature unique to every one of the 72 Football League clubs, customised match balls printed with club colours and badge.
The Delta V12 is the most accurate ball designed by Mitre to date; made of 12 identical panels using
a micro fibre material to guarantee unrivalled symmetry. The 12 panel construction offers
enhanced aerodynamics which optimises the accuracy of a shot, without sacrificing the speed or
power. In Mitre's words: “It is not only the dream ball for outfield players, but goalkeepers too.”
Mitre have a strong heritage and reputation for ball design, as the original suppliers of the Premier League ball have been innovating in football for over nearly 200 years. The design and construction of the new Delta V12 delivers a greater transfer of energy, superior efficiency, stability and aerodynamics than ever before.
