Nike have confirmed the news we were expecting. Neymar will be bringing the Nike GS to UK shores for the London 2012 Olympic Games. The fleet-footed striker will be Nike's only athlete to wear the revolutionary Green Speed, making him the brand's youngest ever player to be given exclusivity on a single boot.

The samba star will make his Olympic debut wearing the 160g shoes, hoping to deliver Brazil's first Olympic gold medal in football. Neymar is the face of Nike's new generation and headlines Brazil's Olympic squad list which boasts a wealth of attacking prowess.
The Brazilian Olympic soccer team were training in Rio de Janeiro yesterday, giving Neymar another chance to put his new
Nike Green Speed football boots into action. The Santos striker, who was voted Brazil's player of the year last season, was wearing the same black-out
Nike GS boots that we spotted him in last month.

Brazil will kick off their 2012 Olympic campaign in Cardiff on July 26th when they take on Egypt. Neymar and co. won't face too many challenges in Group C...to put it kindly! After their opening game against Egypt, they will take on Belarus at Old Trafford before facing New Zealand at St James' Park.
