Football News > adidas Predator LZ Presentation Case

No expense has been spared to launch the adidas Predator Lethal Zones, and after an impressive launch event adidas have given us one more reminder of what the Pred LZ is all about, with this stunning presentation case complete with SoccerBible personalised football boots.

There's always a hubbub of excitement when a large parcel arrives at SoccerBible HQ, it seems SB employees have figured out the difference between a parcel that contains boots and one that contains a presentation case! So we were excited to unbox this one and reveal a pentagonal display case, five sides for the 5 Lethal Zones and with 'Unleash Deadly' emblazoned across the front this presentation case made an immediate statement.

Closer inspection revealed a very classy touch from adidas, who have personalised both boots @SoccerBible with the hashtag #Unleash. We've been proud to partner adidas at every stage of the Predator LZ launch, which not only included unveiling the boots and attending the launch event, but we also sat down exclusively with Predator Lethal Zones product manager Aubrey Dolan to tell the story behind the boots.

In the adidas Predator's 18 year journey, the Lethal Zones concept is probably the most radical boot to have been launched. Within the boot industry, the Predator range has been a long-term pioneer, and designed with five distinctive zones to deliver performance adidas are taking the Pred into unchartered territory.

As the presentation case outlines, in 90 minutes of football a footballer will average only 90 seconds on the ball, which means 'make every touch count'. With five lethal zones, the new Predator unleashes deadly precision with every move. First touch, drive, dribble, pass and sweet spot. Each zone is designed to master the ball and give you ultimate control. Combined they put an arsenal of lethal possibilities at your feet.

The new adidas Predator Lethal Zones football boots have been adidas' most extensively tested product to date. Aubrey Dolan, the product manager for Predator Lethal Zones said; “We have been working with elite and amateur players for a number of years, and with Lethal Zones we have taken the Predator to a whole new level.”

World-class players from Robin van Persie to Xavi have each tested and contributed valuable input to the development of the adidas Predator Lethal Zones. Though we're not sure if any of the players have bagged themselves a snazzy Predator Lethal Zones tee shirt!

Placed firmly on the SoccerBible HQ mantle, the adidas Predator LZ presentation case is a nice touch from adidas who have gone to great efforts to deliver the concept of Lethal Zones. As more and more players appear on-pitch wearing the boots, and looking ahead to the European Championships it looks like the Pred LZ has been a successful launch.

What do you think of the presentation case, and of the impact the Predator Lethal Zones have made? Let us know and share your opinions online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

Adidas will never top Nike when it comes to Product advertising..but that's because it's Nikes thing (Fancy cases and blockbuster advertisements)! BUT...I would rather have a good quality product than a nice box and that's what adidas does well!

Nike is way better when it comes to quality. Have been buying Vapor for years now . Not a single one has broke.

Mates in my team who buys Copas,Predators,F50 and other boots always need to buy the boot again during the season.

The tagline THAT WAS DRIBBLE shows how drastic they have transformed the Predator boot from a mainly so called Power/Accuracy boot to a Closer-to-Control category. Pity.
