Football News > Sensational Premier League Finale

Unless you're a football fan kidnapped by Martians over the weekend, you won't have been able to escape one of the most sensational ends to a season in the history of football! At 2-1 down in the 90th minute, Manchester City had blown their chance of Premier League glory and handed the title to rivals United...then up stepped Sergio Aguero.

Football fans around the globe were in a state of shock yesterday evening, at the most incredible finale to a football season. Two goals from Manchester City in stoppage time, snatched the title from under the noses of city rivals United.

Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson epitomized the shock and amazement at the incredible turnaround, which handed Manchester City their first league title for 44 years. The goal hero was Puma player Sergio Aguero, who netted in the 94th minute coolly taking the ball past a defender before driving home and lifting the ball over the keeper in his Puma v1.11 football boots, to spark incredible scenes at the Etihad Stadium.

What was your take on the sensational end to one of the most dramatic seasons in Premier League history? Share your opinions and join the conversation online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

The Premier League is the greatest league in the world. For everything, entertainment, goals and quality.

ANyone who argues with that doesnt have a clue about football.

I completely agree with you. People who argue that La Liga is better are out of their minds. There is nothing exciting about the first two teams having over one hundred goals and then the third team having only 59, it is just pathetic.

@alexmetEFC, i totally agree, all other leagues are just dull because they have maybe 2 really good teams going for the title then the others are "crap". whereas in the EPL you have 7-8 teams all competing neck to neck for the title and its exciting

Best ever EPL season anyone? People are calling it this. If you look back at all the highlights of the past season, I think I have to agree. Considering title, CL, and relegation races. Not to mention the high scoring action packed games and amazing goal of the weeks! What do you guys think?
