The Juventus striker became the first professional player to put the upcoming Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII football boots into true competitive action! Borriello was wearing a blacked out version of what is set to be the launch colourway of Nike's next Vapor. Despite his best efforts, you could make out the orange colourway that will soon be on the feet of Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar and co.

Gareth Bale remains one of the highest profile f50 players to wear the synthetic versions of the adizero miCoach. The Tottenham winger's boots were in the headlines once more as he earned his side a controversial first half penalty at the Emirates Stadium. The new Blue/White/Energy adizero football boots have been adopted by a strong number of f50 pro's and were one of the best looking boots on show in the capital as Arsenal beat their North London rivals 5-2.

They have been Bargfrede's boot of choice for some time now, despite the updated release of the adiPure 11Pro SL. Released back in May of last year, the adiPure IV SL football boots were one of the stand-out releases of 2011. The 11Pro SL has taken the boot in a slightly different direction that may not be to the taste of the Bremen midfielder.

His less garish Speciali III boots are more suited to the Villa home strip and will be a better match with England's new attire!
