Football News > Dani Alves miCoach Stats

When adidas launched the adizero miCoach football boots, they were completely revolutionary in that they allowed footballers of all levels to compare performance stats. Even more uniquely, they provided the opportunity to see how the top pro's perform, the first player to have his game analysed is Barcelona's energetic full-back Dani Alves...

One of the best full-backs in the game, Dani Alves is such a tireless runner he is more often seen playing at right wing rather than full-back. Against Real Madrid in the recent Copa Del Rey match, Alves was once again in awesome form and scored one of the goals of the season, so here's a reminder of that goal and Dani's full performance data...

The adidas miCoach platform enables you to upload your data, which then gets presented back to you through a series charts and graphs as shown below. The player workout data collates your overall performance, as well as dividing it up to see how you've performed throughout the course of the 90 minutes.

This unique insight into Dani Alves' performance data shows just what it takes to perform at the highest level and for the best football team in the world. During the 90 minutes Alves covered almost 9km, of which 1.2km were hi-intensity so either a sprint of a high-speed run. Alves embarked on 48 sprints which is around one every 2 minutes, with a top-speed of 29.25kmh.

The game profile shows a bar chart of Dani Alves' mobility levels, which shows throughout the game he was constantly on the move either running, sprinting or jogging, as in none of the 5 minute bars is he walking more than being mobile.

As adidas are on the lookout for the fastest 11 players in the UK as part of 'the hunt for fast', do you think you're fast enough to make their team? And have you uploaded your stats yet, and proved that you're fastest!

We'd love to hear from anyone who has worn the 'boot with a brain' and who has uploaded their stats. Are you quicker than Dani Alves, do you run as far over 90 minutes, and do you keep your intensity levels as high throughout the game. Share with us online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

@djpa7 mizuno is truly top quality(ignitus is great for crosses) and adizeros wont hold up as well in hard tackles and are less durable.

These stats are really misleading, he had the boots during warmups, halftime, and postgame. All of that would add onto the walking/standing.
