We've been tracking Sergio 'Kun' Aguero's boot activity over the last few weeks, and after Aguero tweeted his new Puma football boots, it was just a matter of time until the announcement became official. For SoccerBible, that announcement came in a big way, as we were gifted a signed pair of Puma v1.11's from the Manchester City star himself!
We first sighted Aguero wearing a pair of black-out Puma v1.11 football boots over a month, and he actually made his goalscoring debut for Manchester City in the v1.11. SoccerBible received an exclusive pair of blacked-out v1.11's which we featured on the site, but now we can add a pair of the Green/White v1.11's signed by Sergio 'Kun' Aguero himself for the SoccerBible collection.
As we mentioned, Aguero has been testing Puma football boots in recent weeks, and it was the performance characteristics of the PUMA v1.11 Speed boot that was a major reason for him signing this new contract with Puma. Having a lightweight football boot with a K-leather composition that enables freedom of movement and speed on the pitch was an absolute requirement for the Argentinian international.
