Tweet It's the ultimate prize for any aspiring footballer – a professional playing contract! SoccerBible readers now have the chance to make their dreams become a reality and win a professional contract with Swindon Town FC. Electronics manufacturer Samsung have launched a second season of their 'Win a Pro Contract' nationwide football talent search, in association with Swindon Town FC and have invited SoccerBible readers to put their abilities to the test! Players of all abilities can enter, with the eventual winner being rewarded with a one-year professional contract at Paolo Di Canio's League Two club. Hopefuls will be tested at regional trials and matches as they bid to kick-start their dreams of becoming a professional footballer! Regional trials are to be held at Goals Soccer Centres throughout the UK, where players will be monitored by club scouts and expert talent spotters from the FootballCV Academy. The best players at the trials then take part in matches at three professional club grounds across the country. The top 22 players are selected for the Samsung 'Win a Pro Contract' Final at Swindon Town's County Ground towards the end of the year. The eventual winner will be selected by club manager Paolo Di Canio, and invited to sign a professional playing contract and join the club in January 2012. Last season saw 3,600 amateur football players enter 'Win a Pro Contract'. This year, the competition will be bigger and better as the club aims to attract the massive pool of talented young footballers across the country. Last years winner, Jordan Pavett, signed for Swindon Town FC in January and is now in the first team squad. Not only will the winner become a fully-fledged professional footballer, he will also be thrust into the limelight as he's followed in his first season by media titles such as FourFourTwo magazine. He will also receive his very own endorsement deal with Pro-Direct Soccer!
