Mizuno were recently contacted by the makers of Pro-Evolution Soccer, Konami, in relation to the high number of requests received from players for the Mizuno Wave Ignitus football boots! Back in the summer during the World Cup, gamers went crazy for them with thousands of people on the forums and blogs requesting the original yellow/black graphic from Konami! The Wave Ignitus boots haven't just been a success on the field, iIt looks as if they've taken the virtual world by storm as well!
For the latest download update of the game, Mizuno have made sure that all Ignitus fans can update their players with the latest Wave Ignitus football boots. The new White/Black/Red colour-way of the Mizuno boots have received great feedback since their release late last year. After a successful World Cup partly due to the attention surrounding Keisuke Honda, the boot was one of the stand out releases of the year!
They've developed a strong following across Europe and less surprisingly, in Japan! Keisuke Honda, Mizuno's main wearer of the boot is currently enjoying a successful Asian Cup and remains one of the hottest properties in Europe.
