This is YOUR chance to pick the 2010 Football Boot of the Year! The outstanding boot of 2010, a football boot that has outperformed and outclassed every other boot released during 2010. And as if you needed further incentive, but remember whichever boot wins YOU WIN, because every single vote gets entered into our prize draw!
The results are in from our category nominations, and a huge thanks goes to everyone who voted to get their favourite boot into the grand final, we were overwhelmed by the number of votes we received from over a 150 countries! But the voting is not over yet, our finalists are all square and have an even chance of winning, whichever football boot receives the most results by midnight 27th December will be crowned 2010 Football Boot of the Year!

adidas F50 adizero
It's no surprise that the adizero football boots won our Speed Category. Not many boot fans would have believed you if you'd suggested over a year ago that adidas would create a boot to trump Nike's Mercurial range, but there's no denying the F50 adizero has taken the game and boot market by storm.

adidas adiPure III
We suspected the Heritage Category was going to be the closest to call as boot fans remain loyal to the likes of the adiPure, King and Legend, plus the Pantofola d'Oro's have gained quite a niche following. In the end though, the adiPure was the clear winner, perhaps as it boasts a kangaroo leather upper with styling that obviously appeals to the masses.

Mizuno Wave Ignitus
The Power Category turned out to be our closest category and probably produced the shock result in the 2010 Boot of the Year Awards. The adidas Predator has long been established as the outstanding power performer, but it's votes that count, and the Wave Ignitus has clearly made an impression on boot fans this year.

Cristiano Ronaldo Safari Superfly
The Nike CR Safari Superfly football boots were the most sensational boot release of the year, leading up to their launch the forums were buzzing with disbelief that Nike would release such an outrageous boot. And we're guessing it was the Cristiano Ronaldo fans who voted in their thousands in our Special Edition Category to ensure a Vapor Superfly presence in the final.

Nike CTR360 Maestri
Our Bonus Category was created by you the boot fans, who flooded our inbox for more boots to be included in this years awards. We have to agree with you though, as it would have been a crime for the CTR360 not to be in the final, but it didn't have it all it's own way as the F50 adizero Messi ran it close.
So there you have the category winners, now it's time to decide which football boot will be crowned SoccerBible's 2010 Boot of the Year.
Remember, the winning boots will be given away in our Prize Draw, but don't let that sway your decision! Voting closes at Midnight 27th December and we'll reveal the 2010 BOOT OF THE YEAR on New Year's Eve!
