They do look good on pitch i can't denie that tru fact. But why is nike trying so hard to promote these now? When adidas came out with the adiZero they pretty much sold themselves. Adidas did not have to go looking for players who were willing to give them a whirl because of persuasion. They sold because players started to see the quality in the cleats. Now vapors are quality as well but not nearly as comparable to the adiZeros. Thats why Nike have to come out with a radical design and THEN try to sell it to other pro players. they need to focus on making somthing that the people want. Like maybe coming out with some complete Carbon Fiber shoes again or Creating some Leather Vapors. I am sure that would sell.

it kills me to say this but they dont look that bad on the pitch... but i do think theyre trying too hard to sell them, i mean theyre not the pinnacle of innovation because theyre heavier than the Superfly 1's and the Vapor 3's not to mention the adizero's

Your completely right, he is arrogant and dives all the time YET, only many fans think that( almost everyone here does, but you know what I mean)
He is probably the most popular player in the world right now. Messi is about to gain that title fast. BUT the millions of kids and people around the world who really aren't dedicated football fans believe he is practically God. So THATS why NIKE endorse him so much. The image they creating is for all the youth and people who don't know much about soccer and are gonna buy the cheap versions of all his shoes because they hear about him the most, especially in the American market. I am not saying he is the best player in the world (NOT AT ALL, I can name five off the top of my head right now who are way better) but he is undoubtedly a a phenomenal player, and that's + his popularity is what Nike is marketing. Not the players few mistakes. Like if every company wouldn't sponsor and ignored every player who takes dives and acts up, there would be a lot of no name boots in every boot spotting.

Are you gonna stay with them though? I mean you cant really tell anything from the first time you wear a boot....( excluding the fact if they don't fit).. You gotta break em in a bit, get used to the feel ( its different than other boots, that's for sure)... Its a process man, you wont feel like your putting on the *best shoes you have ever had* until you make them that by working with them.(practicing, etc)
Nike Mercurials- FACT= They give you the resources for (the * portion above)... As do ALL leading boots right now. (Specifically the Adizeros, Preds X, Puma SL'a, or more Nike's and go with the CTR's.)
Not even (place your favorite brand here) can create a boot that the second you put it on it and is the most amazing, lightest, fastest, most goal-scoring boot you have ever worn.
Oh and IF my advice doesnt help, what size are you, I'd buy them off you
