Football News > Pre-Season Football Boots Spotting - 15/07/10

Our boot spotters are on the road again tracking down the best current boot spots from around the globe. With the World Cup concluded, m
any clubs have now returned to pre-season training, and are playing their pre-season friendlies. here's a look at the best boots on show...

Fredrik Stoor (Fulham)
adidas F50 adiZero

John Bostock (England U19)
Nike Vapor Superfly II

A bold choice from Fulham left-back Fredrik Stoor, but there is no denying the new Cyan adiZero's are a good looking boot.

We're expecting  to see an explosion of Cactus Vapors and Superfly's at the beginning of the 2010/11 season, and here's Tottenham's John Bostock sporting the Superfly's on training with England U19's.

Steven Caulkner (England U19)
Puma PowerCat 1.10

Jack Rodwell (Everton)
adidas adiPure III

Surprising in an era of Superfly's, adiZero's and v1.10 SL's to see Steven Caulkner in the new Black/Red Puma PowerCat. But then the Tottenham Hotspur youngster is a defender and the PowerCat has been a popular choice with such pro's as Vidic and Chiellini.

The in-demand midfielder is continueing his football education at Everton for another season. And Jack Rodwell was spotted on pre-season tour in Australia wearing the new white/black/red adiPure III football boots.

Steve Zakuani (Seattle Sounders)
adidas F50 adiZero

Matthew Briggs (England U19)
Nike T90 Laser III

The MLS season has already kicked off, so there have been quite a few new soccer shoes on show. One of the most srtiking though was Seattle Sounders' Zakuani in the bright Cyan F50 adiZero's.

Matthew Briggs is another young defender opting for a power boot. The Fulham defender was spotted on international duty with England U19's wearing the new white leather T90 Laser III football boots, a boot we're expecting to see Fernando Torres playing in.

Louis Saha (Everton)
adidas F50 adiZero

Jonathon Greening (Fulham)
adidas adiPure III

The adidas F50 adiZero football boots have been such a revelation that Louis Saha has changed out of his Nike's, which is impressive when you bear in mind Saha has worn Nike football boots for over 10 years!

The new colourway for the adiPure III football boots is a perfect match for the new Fulham kit, as shown here by midfielder Jonathon Greening, even down to the subtle red detailing.

Mark Noble (West Ham)
Nike T90 Laser III

Andy Williams (Real Salt Lake)
adidas F50 adiZero

West Ham's Mark Noble was spotted playing in the new Laser III's, which is interesting as he's another player opting to wear kangaroo leather with the regular sole-plate, rather than the Elite versions.

We'll give Andy Williams the benefit of the doubt and just say he customised his boots from miadidas, rather than pointing out William's is actually sporting the women's adidas F50 adiZero soccer shoes, although they are good looking.

@unomaas, fulham used to get their kits from a vendor, not directly off nike. and @limpy11, just because messi endorses them boots, doesnt mean nobody else isn't allowed to wear them.
