This weekend two of the most valuable games in world football took place; the Champions League final and the Championship play-off final. There were a host of new and unique football boots on show, so here's the SoccerBible's pick of the action...
Diego Milito (Inter) adidas adiPure III
Miroslav Klose (Bayern)
Nike T90 Laser III Elite
Inter Milan's hero, Milito scored both of the goals to win the Champions League, and his second goal was particularly well taken. Milito was playing in the Champions League edition adiPure III football boots.
Klose has previously worn both Nike Legends and Nike CTR's this season, but for the Champions League final Klose opted to wear the new Elite Laser football boots.

Arjen Robben (Bayern)
adidas F50 adiZero
Maicon (Inter)
Nike T90 Laser III Elite
Flying Dutch winger Robben was back playng at the Bernabeu after leaving Madrid in the summer. Robben was wearing the new adiZero football boots for the second time, and we noticed he was wearing the leather versions.
We noticed during the week that Maicon tried out his new Nike Laser Elite football boots during training, but changed back into his regular T90's before the end of the session. So we weren't sure whether the Brazilian full-back would be wearing his new boots for the Champions League final.

Esteban Cambiasso (Inter) adidas Predator X
Michael Chopra (Cardiff)
Puma PowerCat 1.10
Cambiasso was playing in the Champions League edition adidas Predator X football boots, and like many football boots fans we noticed the combative midfielder had a customised sole-plate, with rounded studs instead of adidas Traxion studs.
The white Puma Powercat 1.10 football boots looked great with Michael Chopra's Cardiff kit, with their subtle blue and gold detailing. Unfortunately for Chopra, despite the day starting well with him scoring a goal, his side lost the play-off final.

Gary Fletcher-Taylor (Blackpool)
Nike CTR360 Maestri
Daniel Van Buyten (Bayern)
adidas Predator PowerSwerve
We loved Gary Fletcher-Taylor's customised Nike CTR360 football boots, with the orange and white colourway a great match with either the Blackpool home or away strips. Fletcher-Taylor must have been especially pleased, he managed to get on the scoresheet as Blackpool won promotion to the Premier League.
Despite a whole host of brand new football boots available, Daniel Van Buyten opted to wear Confederation adidas Predator PowerSwerve football boots. Interestingly, these are also the football boots still being worn by Barcelona's playmaker Xavi.

Goran Pandev (Inter) adidas F50 adiZero
Brett Ormerod (Blackpool)
Umbro Speciali
Pandev was one of the first players to competitively wear the adidas adiZero football boot's, as he tried out a blacked-out pair some weeks ago. The creative forward was playing in black leather versions, which must add another dimension to performance as a lightweight speed boot made from leather.
The prize for winning the Championship play-off final is a place in the Premier League worth an estimated £90million, no pressure then! And veteran striker Brett Ormerod kept the coolest head, to score the winning goal for Blackpool playing in classic Umbro Speciali football boots.
