It's the final most crucial weekend of the Premier League, to decide who will be crowned champions. But here at the SoccerBible we're also interested in the sub-plot that is the Golden Boot, who will be the Premier League's top goalscorer; Rooney, Drogba or Bent?
Wayne Rooney and Didier Drogba are currently tied at the top of the scorers chart on 26 goals, closely followed by Darren Bent on 24. But who do our SoccerBible fans think will walk away with the 2009/10 Premier League Golden Boot?
Darren Bent has an outside chance if he can score a hat-trick against Wolverhampton Wanderers, and hope that Rooney and Drogba have a quiet weekend! Bent has been making quite an impression this season wearing the new Umbro Speciali football boots, a boot that has particularly impressed us with its comfortable and soft leather.
In our opinion player of the season was a close-run thing between Drogba and Rooney, as Drogba's all round play has been exceptional this season. Drogba has been in impressive form in his Superfly I football boots, so much so that despite the release of the superfly II's he has opted not to switch his boots mid-season.
This was Wayne Rooney's first season without partner-in-crime Cristiano Ronaldo, and he's certainly proved he's more than capable of leading Manchester United. And you would expect Rooney to perform wearing the Nike T90 Laser III football boots, especially as he helped to design them!
