A selection of players and football boots caught the eye during the weekend's Premier League football. Our keen SoccerBible boot spotters found some brand new football boots on show, players changing their boots and some players switching colourways...

FRANK NOUBLE
Nike Vapor Superfly football boots
We think Frank Nouble is the first player to wear these great looking white/black/pink flash Vapor Superfly football boots. Released at the same time as the yellow Superfly, we're surprised more players haven't worn this classy colourway.

GARETH BARRY
adidas adiPure III football boots
Despite the new adiPure III football boots being available to the pro's for a number of weeks, and being worn by Kaka, Lampard and Alonso. This week is the first Gareth Barry has worn the latest editions, and after their debut against Blackburn, he was clearly impressed as he wore them against Everton.

NICOLAS ANELKA
Puma v1.10 football boots
After a bit of a barren spell in front of goal Nicolas Anelka must have felt the need to change something about his game, and what he changed was his football boots. Anelka wore the red Puma v1.10 football boots against Sunderland, which helped him to hit the back of the net on two occasions.

MARTIN SKRTEL
Nike T90 Laser III football boots
Martin Skrtel debuted the white/obsidian Laser III football boots against Reading midweek, and he continued wearing this latest colourway of the brand new Laser boot against Stoke City, and it must be said with their gold detailing they do compliment the Liverpool away strip.

FLORENT MALOUDA
Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots
The new colourway for the Nike CTR360 football boots was revealed this weekend, and Malouda was just one of the players to give these boots their debut. Wearing the stand-out Nike (RED) laces, Malouda smashed the ball in for Chelsea's second goal, to demonstrate the boots don't just assist ball control!

ROBINHO
Nike Vapor Superfly football boots
Robinho has the skill, and wearing the yellow Superfly football boots for the first time, he has the equipment to perform. Yet for some reason the Brazilian is infuriating fans with a series of lacklustre and below-par performances, which led to Robinho embarrassingly being subbed off again after being subbed on in the same game!

MAME DIOUF
Nike Tiempo Legend III football boots
A bit of an unknown quantity, Senegalese striker Diouf has been a United player for over six months, but following a loan period has only just linked up with his new team-mates. Playing in Nike Legend III football boots, Diouf came off the bench to replace Rooney and headed in a nice third goal.

LANDON DONOVAN
Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots
After beginning his Everton career wearing black-out Nike CTR360 football boots, Donovan is now wearing the new white/silver/blue CTR's. A new colourway worn by a number of players this weekend, and Donovan has been in impressive form since his arrival at Goodison Park.

FRANK LAMPARD
adidas adiPure III football boots
Lampard was the first player to wear the adiPure III football boots in the Premier League, and since wearing these latest incarnations has been in sensational form. Lethal in front of goal in recent weeks, Lampard added another two against Sunderland, from a boot he clearly feels comfortable in and can put in a great performance.

NANI
Nike Mercurial Vapor V football boots
After an indifferent season with United, Nani is clearly confident he can make a strong return to the first team, as he wore the eye-catching yellow Vapor V football boots this weekend. And to his credit Nani made an encouraging start with an overhead kick forcing a good save, but unfortunately throughout the game the familiar frustrating Nani returned.
