Our boot spotters were out this week catching the best of the action from the FA Cup, with some very interesting and unique boot choices on show. And our ever-busy legion of boot spotters also managed to make a cameo appearance at the African Cup of Nations, finding two never seen before football boots...

DANIEL AGGER
Nike T90 Laser III football boots
This season we've seen Daniel Agger switch between Under Armour Dominate and Nike CTR360 football boots, so to wear the new T90 Laser III boots was a completely new choice for Agger. But similar to the boots team-mate Ryan Babel was wearing, these Laser football boots look almost like black-out versions.

SHANE LONG
Puma v-Konstrukt III football boots
One of the heroes of the night, Shane Long scored Reading's winning goal in extra-time to break Liverpool hearts and leave Reading fans ecstatic. And it was an interesting boot choice from Long to wear v-Konstrukt III football boots, considering the variety of boots currently on the market.

BARRY FERGUSON
Umbro Speciali football boots
Barry Ferguson started the season wearing Puma King football boots, but has joined a host of Premier League players by switching into the Umbro Speciali's. And the move has certainly helped Ferguson, who has been in great form recently and scored the winning goal against Nottingham Forest.

MARTIN SKRTEL
Nike T90 Laser III football boots
In recent weeks Martin Skrtel has been wearing some interesting black-out Laser football boots, which it seems he was wearing whilst he waited for his new white/obsidian football boots. We think Skrtel is the first player to wear these more toned down colourways on pitch, and they certainly look classy.

WAYNE ROUTLEDGE
adidas F50i football boots
Wayne Routledge was the first player spotted wearing the macaw green adidas F50i football boots, even before the adidas launch date! Since then Routledge has flirted with wearing the Nike CTR360 football boots, but he is now back in the great looking macaw F50i's.

LEE CROFT
Nike Ronaldinho 10R Dois football boots
It's interesting that since Ronaldinho has stopped wearing his own range of 10R Dois football boots, we've spotted another player wearing his range of boots. Last week it was Jobi McAnuff and this week it is Lee Croft, with the Derby player opting for the classy looking white/gold colourway.

|
BRADLEY ORR
Umbro X-Boot football boots
Bit of a retro boot on display here worn by Bristol City's Bradley Orr, who played against Cardiff City in quite atrocious conditions wearing an old Umbro X-Boot. But then you can't deny that at on stage this was a brand new performance football boot!
 |
|
FERNANDO TORRES
Nike T90 Laser III football boots
Torres may start to wander whether the new Nike T90 Laser III football boots are jinxed for him! Of course that's not true, but after wearing his old Laser II football boots recently Torres decided to wear his new Laser III football boots against Reading, but unfortunately he had to leave the field injured.

|
CLINTON MORRISON
Puma v1.10 football boots
Clinton Morrison is one of the few players we've seen wearing the red colourway for the Puma v1.10 football boots. A bold, innovative and unique football boot that makes quite a statement on the pitch.

|
|
DAVID N'GOG
adidas F50i football boots
After making the switch David N'Gog seems to be quite comfortable in the adidas F50i football boots, as proven by the fact he is onto his second colourway. N'Gog had previously worn adiPure football boots, but now wearing F50i's he is undoubtedly enjoying his best season.

|
JOSEPH KAMWENDO
Under Armour Dominate football boots
Under Amour have released some quite subtle colourways for the Dominate football boots, and this latest white/black/orange boot continues the theme. But they are a really good looking addition to the range, especially the sole-plate, and they were quite proudly worn by Malawi's Kamwendo at the African Cup of Nations.
 |
|
YAZID MANSOURI
Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots
The Nike CTR360 football boots are quite a versatile boot, and it seems the pro's are able to get their hands on any variety of colourways as we've seen recently in boot spotting. And these white/green/red CTR's are the perfect compliment to Mansouri's Algeria kit, finished with Nike (RED) laces.
