We've doubled up on our boot spotting this week, to keep our dedicated SoccerBible fans happy who missed the boot spotting feature at the start of the week. So our boot spotters were out in force, to report on the top performing football boots, and the players making interesting boot choices...

FRANK LAMPARD
adidas adiPure III football boots
Lampard scored his first goal wearing the new adidas adiPure III football boots, and chose to wear the white/gold colourway. The third generation adiPure football boots have taken the classy range and improved on their performance.

FERNANDO TORRES
Nike T90 Laser III football boots
Another player scoring his first goal wearing a new pair of football boots was Fernando Torres, wearing the Nike T90 Laser III football boots. Torres was appearing in his 100th game for Liverpool and scored his 61st goal for the club, very impressive statistics indeed and they've all come from Nike Lasers!

DECO
Umbro Speciali football boots
Deco has been resurgent under Carlo Ancelotti, and has often spearheaded Chelsea's midfield. The Portuguese playmaker opts for Umbro Speciali football boots, which have been very popular this season, and against Portsmouth he was sporting the new black/silver colourway with the white boot collar.

|
JERMAIN DEFOE
adidas F50i football boots
Jermain Defoe joined fellow adidas F50 wearers by switching into the Macaw Green colourway. Defoe had been reluctant to change his boots after scoring five goals in the silver/red boots, but after scoring on their first outing he should be happy to stick with his new green football boots.

TOM HUDDLESTONE
Nike T90 Laser II football boots
Tom Huddlestone seems unsure of what football boots to wear this season, as for the second consecutive game the powerful midfielder switched boots. Huddlestone started the game wearing Nike Laser football boots but then switched into CTR360 Maestri boots.

|
JAMIE O'HARA
adidas adiPure II football boots
O'Hara surprisingly wore red adiPure II football boots against Chelsea, after previously wearing the new adidas Predator X football boots. O'Hara must have been swayed by the red colourway, as he opted not to wear the new adiPure III football boots.

ANDRE BIKEY
Puma v1.10 football boots
Andre Bikey may have been at fault for Burnley conceding against Arsenal, as he could have cleared the ball. But the strong and pacey player made amends by winning Burnley's penalty, from which they equalised from. Bikey was wearing the Puma v1.10 football boots, which are an innovation of the Puma v1 range.

KEVIN PRINCE-BOATENG
Nike CTR360 Maestri football boots
Another indecisive player from this week's Premier League action was Portsmouth's Kevin Prince Boateng, who wore both the Nike CTR360 football boots and the Nike Vapor Superfly football boots. Perhaps the Premier League playing surfaces are deceiving and players are needing to change their sole-plates, because surely they try out new boots' comfort and performance during training.
