Some very interesting football boots made an appearance this weekend in the Premier League. There were some brand new football boots on show, some quite old football boots on show, and some uniquely customised football boots on show, and of course our SoccerBible boot spotters were on hand to catch the best of the action...

DIDIER DROGBA
Nike Superfly football boots
Didier Drogba proved once again that he is such a handful to play against, wearing Vapor Superfly's he scored twice against Arsenal. And interestingly, Drogba and fellow Nike players wore red laces in their football boots to support a Nike cause, but all shall be revealed tomorrow...

RYAN GIGGS
Reebok Instante football boots
Ryan Giggs scored his 100th Premier League goal wearing a pair of brand new Reebok Instante football boots. The new white/black/gold colourway isn't expected until early next year, but the classy colourway is fitting for a classy player like Giggs who struck a fantastic free kick against Portsmouth.

JULIAN FAUBERT
Nike T90 Strike II football boots
The most interesting boot choice came from West Ham substitute Julian Faubert, who came off the bench wearing Nike T90 Strike football boots! This is noticeable as the ShotShield is different, it doesn't have the black spot made from a more dense material. And we can only assume that Faubert's boot choice is because he prefers calf leather over kangaroo leather.

ASHLEY YOUNG
adidas F50i football boots
Ashley Young has joined a select number of F50 wearers by switching into the new macaw green colourway. We've only seen a few players around the world wear the new colourway, and they certainly do look impressive on the pitch.

|
JOE COLE
Nike Tiempo Legend III football boots
Joe Cole was another Chelsea player to wear red laces with his Nike football boots. The laces really stand out with the white and blue colourway of Cole's Nike Legend III football boots, and the creative midfielder had a solid enough game against Arsenal, although he wasn't outstanding.

JIMMY BULLARD
adidas adiPure II football boots
Bullard is a bit of a SoccerBible favourite as he seems to have a great sense of humour! We had to feature Jimmy this week after his goal celebration, a light-hearted re-enactment of Phil Brown's famous half-time team talk on the pitch against Manchester City last season.

MICHAEL DAWSON
Umbro Speciali football boots
Michael Dawson struck a great equalising goal for Tottenham from Speciali football boots. This years Umbro Speciali's have received great feedback from the players, and Dawson was clearly happy with his as he smashed the ball into the back of the Aston Villa net.

THEO WALCOTT
Nike Superfly football boots
Another boot which was interesting to see with red laces, was the orion blue Vapor Superfly football boots. Walcott came off the Arsenal bench and added a bit of pace to the Arsenal side, and was able to up the tempo for the Gunners.

PEPE REINA
Joma Total Fit 91 football boots
Reina's heroics this season have saved Liverpool from further embarrassment. And Liverpool had to withstand constant pressure against Everton, but Reina was in outstanding form. The Spanish goalkeeper feels comfortable wearing the Joma Total Fit football boots to block shots, but they also help his excellent distribution.

GUILLERMO FRANCO
adidas F50.9 football boots
Franco was on the scoresheet for West Ham in their incredible 5-3 victory over Burnley. A good choice of boots from Franco as he wore the Rome editions of the adidas F50.9 football boots, which perfectly match the West Ham home strip.
