Ok, so you've checked out the awesome new version of the Tiempo 94 and had an insight into Nike's history as one of the major names in soccer today. So what better time than to dig out these absolute classic Nike adverts from the 1990's, where the Tiempo was king and Nike was just starting to have a big impact on football across the globe.
We've compiled three of the most memorable and classic Tiempo ads from the 90s to share with our SoccerBible fans - which are great to relive again even if you remember them first time around...
Advert #1 is the famous "Wall", where a football is blasted across all corners of the globe from a host of Tiempo players playing on the side of iconic buildings.
Next up is advert #2 - the legendary "Parklife", depicting life and football at London's Hackney Marshes. See how many players you can spot smashing in goals, tackles and tricks with the Tiempo boots and running rings around the opponents.
Finally, the iconic advert #3 "Good vs Evil" or more commonly known as "Au Reviour Cantona". No surprise that Le King Eric Cantona is the star of the show, complete with trademark collar turn up, as a team of All-Star legends take on the forces of evil. Again, how many past legends can you spot in this advert!?
Of course, this was only the start for Nike and their video adverts as the budgets became bigger and the tricks and skills more incredible. But for us, these three ads epitomise the original Tiempo superbly and are definitely worth a second viewing!
