The Football League Show

The Championship teams get a break due to the international weekend, so the focus is very much on League One and Two. MK Dons have appointed Karl Robinson as full-time coach after Paul Ince left the club at the end of last season, and they face Hartlepool in one of the games of the day in League One. Elsewhere, Southampton host Rochdale at St Mary's, while further along the south coast, Peter Reid's Plymouth entertain Brighton. Presented by Manish Bhasin.

World Cup's Shocking Moments 2010

Richard Bacon is assisted by David Seaman as he takes a hilarious look back at the 50 greatest shocks from South Africa 2010 - from Rob Green's blunder against the USA to the French team going on strike; from Uruguay cheating Ghana out of a place in the semi-final to Frank Lampard's infamous 'goal that never was'. There are also the brilliant moments that may have slipped under the radar - Fabio Capello daring to bully Stuart Pearce, Emmanuel Eboue speaking Korean and the madness of Maradona.

Football News > Football News - European U21 Championships - Boot Spotting - 30/06/09

Here are the football boots which made the difference at the European Under-21 Championship. Which ended with Germany romping to a 4-0 victory over England in the final, to win their first Under-21 Championship title...

MESUT OZIL

Nike Vapor Superfly football boots

Creative player Ozil was wearing the new Platinum Superfly football boots, a super-light boot which helped him to get around the pitch. Along with scoring a goal, Ozil produced a stunning performance to set-up two goals and finish 'man of the match' in the final.

SANDRO WAGNER

Puma v1.08 football boots

Wagner's two goals ended any hopes England had of a comeback. Interestingly Wagner was playing in the responsive kangaroo leather v1.08 football boots, giving him extra touch and feel for the ball
.

MARCUS BERG

adidas F50i football boots

Sweden's Marcus Berg was far and away the leading goalscorer in the competition with an impressive seven goals, clearly the new thin SprintSkin and lace-cover have helped Berg to be deadly in front of goal
.

GONZALO CASTRO

Nike T90 Laser II football boots

Castro set Germany on their way by scoring the first goal in the final, and was playing in the new Blaze Laser football boots which have proved to be an extremely popular colourway
.

BENEDIKT HOWEDES

adidas Predator True Blue football boots

The Germans only conceded one goal in the entire tournament, with Howedes solid at the back. The powerful true blue Predators Howedes was wearing not only looked good but cleared any attack.

JAMES MILNER

Nike Tiempo Legend II football boots

Milner only wears black football boots, so he turned out wearing the black/volt Legend football boots. Despite notching up an impressive 46 caps for the England U21 side, Milner unfortunately couldn't lead England to victory.
