The Football League Show

The Championship teams get a break due to the international weekend, so the focus is very much on League One and Two. MK Dons have appointed Karl Robinson as full-time coach after Paul Ince left the club at the end of last season, and they face Hartlepool in one of the games of the day in League One. Elsewhere, Southampton host Rochdale at St Mary's, while further along the south coast, Peter Reid's Plymouth entertain Brighton. Presented by Manish Bhasin.

Richard Bacon is assisted by David Seaman as he takes a hilarious look back at the 50 greatest shocks from South Africa 2010 - from Rob Green's blunder against the USA to the French team going on strike; from Uruguay cheating Ghana out of a place in the semi-final to Frank Lampard's infamous 'goal that never was'. Football News > Boot Spotting - Confederations Cup Semi Final 25/06/09

The first Confederations Cup semi-final served up a shock result, showing that anything can happen in football. What was billed from the outset as the ultimate David versus Goliath match-up, the USA overcame Spain, the current world undisputed No. 1 team, to book their place in the Confeds Cup Final on Sunday.

Spain hadn’t lost since November 2006,with 15 consecutive victories and 35 straight matches without a loss. Even more impressive was the 451 straight minutes with conceding. But all of that came to an end last night when first Altidore and then Dempsey struck to give the USA a 2-0 win and book their place in their first ever World Final.

It was the Americans impressive workrate and constant running that won the match for them, and interestingly both Altidore and Dempsey were wearing brand new top-end speed boots.

Altidore was playing in the adidas F50i football boots, and scored the USA's first goal. Benefiting from interchangeable studs and insole, with a new single layer SprintSkin upper for improved touch and feel for the ball. Altidore took the ball well from a Dempsey pass, used his strength to turn his defender and then hammered the ball home for a shock USA lead.

Clint Dempsey sealed victory with a 74th minute goal that sent ripples around the footballing world! Wearing platinum Nike Vapor Superfly football boots Dempsey was energetic throughout the match, and arrived late in the box to tap capitalise on a Ramos error. Sending the USA into the Confederations Cup final, and complete a good showing for speed football boots.

usa did not deserve the victory spain were attacking and shooting like crazy but it's all sergio's and iker's fault because sergio was not defending well hes only attackin and iker is not defending well and david villa is missing alot of chances and torres was okay mybe it was  the absence of iniesta because he's the play maker
