Football Shirts > Brazil 2012/13 Home & Away Nike Football Kits

There's an exciting year of international football ahead with the London Olympic Games and European Championships. The Confederação Brasileira de Futebol and Nike have kicked off the years replica releases after launching the Brazil 2012/13 home/away kits. The FIFA World Cup hosts will debut their new home uniform when they take on Bosnia-Herzegovina on 28/02/12 in a friendly.

Resurrecting the retro look worn by Brazilian legend Pele and Garrincha in the country's World Cup winning 1962 team, the new 12/13 designs were unveiled last night in Rio de Janeiro with internationals Neymar and Paulo Henrique Ganso on modelling duties. The new kits will be worn during this summer's London 2012 Olympic Games and in each friendly throughout the international calender.

The new kit makes a return to a v-neck design for the first time since the team's 2008/09 shirts. The famous “Nascido para jogar futebol” (Born to play football) motto is now featured on the fold-over cuff on the left sleeve, having previously been positioned on the inner necklines.

The hallmarks of Brasil's style of play led to the design of the new Brasil National Team kit which combines precision fabrication with bold styling. The top quality materials, design and detailing of the new home jersey symbolize the artistry that defines the Canarinhos.

Brazil’s new match attire will be worn its in quest for Olympic Gold. Can Neymar and co. inspire the country their first Olympic gold medal in soccer this summer? What do you think of the Seleção's new look? Share your thoughts on the 2012/13 Nike Brazil home and away shirts online, on Twitter and on Facebook.

Sometimes I get the feeling that Nike are putting little effort into these Brazil kits. I kno the jersey should be simple but jeez, this looks like a training kit! I think Puma would have done a much better as they would have put in a graphic of some sort on it. Oh well, the away looks okay tho...

Current kit is MUCH better. And what's with the sleeve extensions? Hate V-necks with long short sleeves.

Terrrible like a fat mans football shirt.....

I agree with people who say that it seems little effort was put into them, put I likes the previoous shirts that weren't released too long ago so they seem to be a pointless release and a step backwards in terms of design. I also agree that they look like they're training kits.

if the neck also was green, maybe the shirt would make sense, but just as I do not really like, also the previous shirt was too ugly with that green rectangle in the middle chest , a shame what Nike is doing with his best level team football history, contractually speaking
