Football Shirts > Chelsea Third 10/11 adidas Football Shirt

Chelsea and adidas have unveiled this quite extraordinary looking Chelsea Third Kit 10/11. It's available to pre-order from today, and is certainly an eye-catching new Chelsea Third football shirt.

The new adidas Chelsea Third football shirt 10/11 is quite an abstract creation, which is sure to cause a lot of debate amongst fans. The kit has a contemporary design featuring a vertical stripe dissolving for the shirt sponsor, with mesh integrated into the main body of the jersey. The finished fabric helps create a striking design with the performance benefit of wicking sweat away from the body.

On the field, the Chelsea players Third football jersey features adidas TechFit directly in the playing shirt, to help improve speed, increased endurance capabilities and enhanced muscle focus proprioception. This works by stabilizing and focusing the muscles’ energy to generate explosive acceleration and deliver maximum power output.

The new Chelsea Third shirts also feature adidas ClimaCool technology, a mixture of heat and moisture controlling materials, ventilation channels and 3D fabrics which improve air flow to the skin in the key heat zones

To launch the new Chelsea football kits 10/11, the inspiration has been provided by the Chelsea of the 70's, 80's and 90's. All these elements have come together for an excellent promotional campaign utilising star players Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba and Petr Cech, plus artwork from the famous English pop artist Peter Blake.

The new green, black, and blue Chelsea 3rd kit is available to pre-order now and goes on sale from 26th August, fans should expect to part with around £45 GBP / $65 USD to own the new Chelsea shirt.

The brand new Chelsea Third Shirt 10/11 looks set to cause some debate amongst the fans and could become a cult classic, we'd love to hear your opinions...

Most clubs use their history to inspire their home and away kits,  but the 3rd kit will hardly be used and isnt as important as the home and aways kits this probably being the reason why there isnt much historic influence in the kit

One thing I like most about this jersey is the line that runs through the middle, it gives it some kind of "athletic symmetry".

Nice and k-o-o-l.
